What Accounts/Receivable systems can you interface with?

CyberCollect debt collection software can interface with any Accounts/Receivable system that can provide either text import files containing delinquency information for populating the CyberCollect database or that can execute SQL Server database procedures for directly populating the CyberCollect database with delinquency information.

You can pick which fields will be imported from the expansive CyberCollect Data Dictionary thereby customizing the interface to your needs without any additional programming or cost.

Please note: Imports and exports are available only in the full version of CyberCollect, not in CyberCollect Basic.

What formats are accepted for imports from Accounts/Receivable systems?

Text files generated for import can either be Comma-Separated-Value (CSV) files or fixed-length records with record offset positions defined for each field.

SQL Server database procedures can also be defined for importing directly into the CyberCollect database.

Please note: Imports and exports are available only in the full version of CyberCollect, not in CyberCollect Basic.

Can you export information to Accounts/Receivable systems?

Yes.  Debt collection departments often gain access to changes in demographic and other customer information before other departments.  CyberCollect can be customized to generate transaction code based export files containing such changes to be processed on your A/R system.  The export layout is defined according to the requirements of your Accounts/Receivable system without any additional programming or cost.

Please note: Imports and exports are available only in the full version of CyberCollect, not in CyberCollect Basic.

Do you interface with ACH systems?

Yes, thanks to our recent alliance with BillingTree, we are able to provide check payments and credit card payments while your collectors have your customers on the phone.  Please see our Alliances web page for more information.

Do you interface with credit bureaus?

Yes.  CyberCollect can generate exports to credit bureaus using the standard Metro 2 format.

To avoid duplication of effort and to cut down on costs, we recommend credit reports from credit bureaus continue to be routed to your Loan Processing system.

Are the imports and exports automated?

Yes. Imports and exports can be scheduled to run automatically or processed manually as needed.

Please note: Imports and exports are available only in the full version of CyberCollect, not in CyberCollect Basic.

I am collecting for my own business and I do not have Accounts/Receivable software.  Can CyberCollect keep track of payments and other financial transactions for me in addition to its collection features?

Yes. The Financial Entry feature within CyberCollect allows you to enter transactions for updating balances and assessing fees.  You set up your transactions to process the way you want.  You have the flexibility to add or change your transaction codes at any time without any additional programming or cost.  Entering the transaction codes within the Financial Entry function is a snap; balances are updated dynamically when your are ready to save a batch of transactions.

Am I tied to using your codes for representing collection activity?

No.  You have the flexibility of defining action codes, result codes, and codes for requesting letters which includes defining whether a comment is required and a default follow-up date.  Collection activity codes can be added/changed/deleted at any time without any additional programming or cost.

Can I define my own letters?

Yes. You have complete flexibility for laying out your debt collection letters including your company logo as well as customer information to be merged with the text of the letters.  Each letter you define has an associated code that your collectors will use to request and generate the letters. Letter definitions can be added/changed/deleted at any time without any additional programming or cost.

What is the difference between the full version of CyberCollect and CyberCollect Basic?

With CyberCollect Basic, you’ll see the same great functionality and flexibility you have with the full version of CyberCollect.  You may change action and result codes, letters, user reports, your queuing strategy and much, much more.  The only difference is the import and export features for interfacing with other systems or applications are turned off.  If you decide you want this additional capability later on, let us know and we’ll get you interfacing in no time.
